Winter Yiddish Intensive: Beginner
Instructor: Josh Price | An intensive course for those new to the Yiddish language, or who would like a review. This course covers the alphabet, elementary grammar, and conversational and reading basics. It also serves as an informal introduction to Yiddishland in all its richness: labor anthems, Hasidic folktales, (ir)reverent cartoons, and everything in between.

Winter Yiddish Intensive: Advanced
Instructor: Dovid Braun | An intensive Yiddish course for those seeking exposure and instruction beyond the basics. Broadening of vocabulary, understanding of grammar, spelling, usage, dialect, and cultural background. This course is for advanced learners of Yiddish, both heritage speakers and those with formal study in their background. Topics will reflect the needs of the participants.
All classes take place at the YIVO Institute, located in the Center for Jewish History building (15 West 16th Street).
