Raising $300 million in 2018, a quarter of the companies that Samsung Catalyst, the venture fund of Samsung Electronics, invested in were Israeli startups, reported Calcalist, citing Samsung Catalyst head Shankar Chandran.

Companies included LiDAR startup Innoviz Technologies Ltd., vehicle-to-vehicle communications manufacturer Autotalks Ltd., 3D-imaging firm Mantis Vision Ltd. and artificial-intelligence company Allegro.ai.
