Anti-Semitic threatening graffiti was found yesterday on a sign announcing the future home of the University of California San Diego Hillel Jewish Center, located at La Jolla Village Drive and North Torrey Pines Road.

The graffiti read “F—- You All” in letters resembling Nazi swastikas, according to local media.

Rabbi David Singer, Hillel Center Executive Director did his bet to wash it off as soon as he learned of the incident.

“I was disappointed, I was sad. I grew up here in La Jolla I don’t want to see that graffiti on any institution,” Rabbi Singer said.

He also commented that the Glickman Hillel Center will soon break ground after decades of lawsuits and legal fights from people who oppose to its construction.

“No one in this neighborhood that I know was opposed to Hillel because it was Hillel,” neighbor Paul Dostart said.

“I think it is some bad person who doesn’t live in the neighborhood,” Joyce Dostart said.

“This is someone who has hate. Hillel is an organization which builds love,” Rabbi Singer said.

Police informed they aren’t identifying it as a hate crime. Rabbi Singer says there have been no other recent tags, threatening calls or communication directed at the Hillel Center.
