Among the activities of Tijuana Innovadora 2020,  Julie Toskan, co-founder MAC Cosmetics, will give her online conference “Values Based Entrepreneurship” on Saturday October 10 at 9:00 am.

The president and founder of Tijuana Innovadora, Jose Galicot Behar, noted that it is an honor to have one of the biggest stories of the cosmetics industry as part of one the event’s center theme areas focusing on Creative Industries.

“At Tijuana Innovadora, we seek to bring the best of the best for each of our activities, which is why we will have an individual who in addition to having led global marketing, is also dedicated to philanthropy and will offer her expertise in entrepreneurship.”

He highlighted that in 2001, Julie Toskan became the first Canadian woman to graduate from the Rockefeller Foundation Philanthropy Workshop, and  with Frank Toskan and Victor Casale, established the Toskan Casale Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting community social programs.

Furthermore, in 2002, Toskan created the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative, which has trained young philanthropists who support charitable organizations, and this program is being implemented in over 200 schools in the United Kingdom, Canada and New York City.

Finally, José Galicot invited the community to keep an eye on Tijuana Innovadora’s activities from October 6th to 10th, which will be accessible free of charge and can be viewed in their entirety at www.tijuanaeselfuturo.org.
