A rocket launched by Hamas in Gaza struck a building in the southern Israeli town of Sderot late on Thursday, causing damage but no injuries.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the building hit belong to the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, and contains a synagogue and a school.

The attack was the second of the day at southern Israel from Gaza after the Iron Dome air-defense system intercepted a missile just after midnight.
As a result of that attack, the IDF struck “underground terror infrastructure” in a Hamas compound in the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, Israel announced that it imposed a full naval closure of the Strip after several arson and explosive attacks from the coastal territory throughout the day.
The latest rocket attacks follow last month’s intense two-day flare-up between Israel and Palestinian terror groups in Gaza.
