New Jersey imam was caught on tape delivering a fiery sermon exhorting Allah to kill the Jews.  ImamAymen Elkasaby delivered the sermon at Friday prayers on December 8 at the Islamic Center of Jersey City.

“So long as the Al-Aqsa mosque remains prisoner in the hands of the Jews,” he told the crowd, “this nation will be humiliated. As long as the Al-Aqsa mosque remains under the feet of the apes and pigs, this nation will be humiliated.”

“Allah, make us among your armies … Allah, we ask you to grant us martyrdom on the threshold of Al-Aqsa Mosque … Count them one by one, and kill them down to the very last one. Do not leave a single one on the face of the Earth.”

He told his congregation that “supporting the Al Aqsa mosque” is a “religious obligation.”

Elkasaby has only been employed at the Islamic Center of Jersey City since August, according to Islamist Watch, a group affiliated with the Middle East Forum that monitors extremist views among religious and academic Muslim leaders. They report the mosque even held an Interfaith Gathering of Unity last month, at which Elkasaby was a featured participant. Mosque president Ahmed Shadeed was also invited to be the special guest of Cory Booker at President Obama’s State of the Union address in 2016.

Elkabasy follows two other American imams who earlier this year incited their congregations to hate Jews.

Allah wants us to have jihad in our lives no matter what and where we are and what is happening,” Imam Mahmoud Harmoush declared to the Islamic Congregation of Riverside, California on July 21. “When you happen to be in Jerusalem, for example, around the holy mosque and people are shooting you, putting you in the hospital, or killing you, you have to resist and fight back as much as you can.”

Imam Ammar Shahin of the Islamic Center of Davis, also in California, told his congregation that “judgement day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews.”

“Oh Allah, show us the black day that You inflict upon them, and the wonders of Your ability,” he prayed. “Oh Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one. Do not spare any of them.”

Clarion Project supported a campaign to fire Imam Ammar Shahin which gained over 5,000 signatures, including from local democratic Congressman Brad Sherman.
