The title for our upcoming zoom live stream is taken from one of the pieces that will be featured during this Wednesday’s event. Written by company member Hannah Gee, a yellow tank top was one of the first articles of clothing she bought upon leaving the Hasidic community.
Over these past challenging months, New Yiddish Rep has continued it’s commitment to the development of new and vibrant programming. The creative output has been extraordinary. Our amazingly talented company members have been engaged in ongoing online writing, acting, and singing classes, developing performances and writing that include memoirs, poetry, comedy, plays and song. We are excited to share with you some of what we’ve been up to.
