Jason Greenblatt — US President Donald Trump’s international negotiations representative — met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Tuesday, but remained tight-lipped as to the substance of their discussions.
Greenblatt said on Twitter that he “appreciated” the sit-down with Netanyahu and his staff in advance of further talks when Jared Kushner, Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, arrives in Jerusalem on Wednesday.
I appreciate meeting again with @netanyahu and his staff for further talks ahead of Jared Kushner’s visit tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/iGTEa8xaew

Earlier, Greenblatt tweeted about his meeting with the prominent Israeli-American political thinker and writer Yossi Klein Halevi, as well as his attendance at Monday’s shiva for Hadas Malka, the 23-year-old Israeli Border Policewoman murdered in a Palestinian terrorist attack in Jerusalem on Friday.
“This violence is intolerable!” Greenblatt wrote.
Today I paid a shiva call to family of Hadas Malka. She was murdered by terrorists. This violence is intolerable! pic.twitter.com/9IgSPq2LB2
