TV anchor Gadeer Mreeh, who is running on the Blue and White Party headed by former Israel Defense Forces’ Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and Yesh Atid Party leader Yair Lapid, also a former journalist, is all but assured a seat in the next Knesset when Israelis go to the polls on April 9.

More than 140,000 Druze live in Israel.
