Ford Motor Company executive chairman Bill Ford is scheduled to be in Israel in two weeks, reported Calcalist, citing someone familiar with the development.
The chairman, whose great-grandfather was founder Henry Ford, “will scout for technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and cybersecurity,” according to the outlet.
The auto manufacturer invested $12.5 million last year in its Israeli subsidiary, SAIPS AC Ltd., to create a decision-making structure for autonomous vehicles.
