Miami Imam Dr. Fadi Yousef Kablawi said in a recent sermon that Israel is the “land of Islam” and that Israelis would “run like mice” when Muslims come to take it back,
In a Friday sermon delivered at Masjid as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah in north Miami and posted on the mosque’s official Facebook page on April 16, 2021, Kablawi thanked the Israelis for building the settlements, which he said would serve as housing for the Muslims when they take the land back.
“And you will continue to see the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and you will continue to see the Dome of the Rock. You will continue to see the Palestinians and Muslims visiting that mosque. And you will continue to hear us reciting: ‘Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from the Al-Haram Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque,’ until you go into your grave, and until we take it back. By Allah, we will take it back. Palestine is the land of Islam,” he added.
Kablawi asked why only Muslims who die for their cause are considered terrorists, while non-Muslims such as Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Che Guevara and Bob Marley are considered heroes.
“Why do you praise these people? Because they died for what they believe in. So why is it forbidden for us, when we say that the greatest level that you can attain is to die for what you believe in—for Allah? Why? You have double standards, hypocrites, why?” he said.
“All day long you are bugging us that Jesus died for us … We don’t believe that Jesus died for us, we don’t even believe that Jesus died, period. Yet. But here, you are praising Jesus because he died for what he believed in, to save you from your sins. Why is it forbidden for us to die for our belief, why has it become a big deal?,” he continued.
Christians, he said, should convert to Islam because Muslims believe Jesus is still alive.
“After all these years that they lied to you and told you that Jesus died. And here, we Muslims are coming to tell you that Jesus is alive. So what do you do in return? You fight us. If you truly love Jesus, this is the religion for you. Ask the people who converted [from Christianity]. Wasn’t this a deal breaker or a deal maker? Jesus, you claim you love Jesus, and we love Jesus, but we love him more than you. But we love the Jesus that we believe in, and you love the Jesus they lied to you about—two different Jesuses,” he said.
