French philosopher, writer and filmmaker Bernard-Henri Lévy will be the guest of honor at the 2021 Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival, where he will also debut his latest documentary, reported The Jerusalem Post.

The Will to See,” co-directed by Marc Roussel, is an “unflinching look at the most urgent humanitarian crises around the globe” and follows Levy, a veteran war correspondent, as he travels to eight war-torn locations, “bearing witness to tremendous human suffering and misery, where the world’s destiny is being determined, and no one, it seems is be paying attention.”

He additionally published a book in October about his experiences, also titled The Will to See.

The Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival will take place from Nov. 27 to Dec. 2 at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.
