The Aish World Center, opposite the Western Wall, hosted Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon and a delegation of 30 of his peers during their visit to Jerusalem earlier this month, following their historic visit to Poland for the annual March of the Living.

Danon has brought more than 100 U.N. ambassadors to the Aish World Center in the past year. Aish welcomes hundreds of dignitaries annually to teach the importance and relevance of Jewish wisdom and values.

The diplomats—representing Kenya, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Latvia and Lithuania—joined longtime Aish partner and supporter Marc Goldman and Aish HaTorah CEO Rabbi Steven Burg for a tour that included a historical overview of Jerusalem from the Aish rooftop with its panoramic view of the Temple Mount, Western Wall and surrounding mountains.

The ambassadors viewed a short film, “Reality,” produced by Goldman, which expresses the importance of following the Bible’s wisdom to ensure the spiritual and physical survival of humanity.

Burg welcomed the ambassadors to the Aish World Center, calling it “the United Nations of the Jewish world.” He commended the ambassadors for having the courage to “take a stand and be able to speak up when you see things that are just plain wrong.”

Later in the evening, Burg hosted a Shabbat dinner at the Aish World Center for a delegation of senior American diplomats, including U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland Ed McMullen, Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Anti-Semitism Elan Carr, U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell and members of the Diaspora Ministry.
