Even as Hamas holds 136 Israelis hostage in unspeakable conditions, a close relative of the terrorist group’s leader, Ismail Haniyeh, is receiving life-saving medical care at Beersheva’s Soroka Medical Center.

Haniyeh’s sisters, Israeli citizens, live in the Bedouin town of Tel Sheva in the Negev. His niece gave birth to a premature baby in recent days, who is being treated at Soroka’s neonatal intensive care unit.

“It’s a story that the whole world needs to hear. “It’s all the difference between the incomprehensible cruelty of Hamas and the humanity of Israel,” said Channel 13 reporter Almog Boker, who broke the story on Monday.

It isn’t an easy situation for the medical team as they know they’re caring for a family member of Haniyeh, who was one of those responsible for Oct. 7, Boker reported.

However, they also understand that it is their duty to care for him.
