U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is reportedly planning to visit Israel as part of a trip next month to Europe and the Middle East.

Politico, citing three U.S. officials familiar with the matter, reported on Thursday that Pence plans to go on a trip starting Jan. 6 that would consist of him visiting Bahrain, Israel, Poland and possibly other places. Bahrain has been one of a handful of countries to normalize ties with Israel over the past four months.

It would be the vice president’s first overseas trip since last January when he visited Rome and Jerusalem.

Pence’s aides declined to comment to Politico.
